The show is based on the toy brand and is coproduced with toycos Giochi Preziozi and California-based Meg, the brand’s originator. Meg and Mondo also partner on a TV adaptation of the Power Buggz brand.

The Puppy In My Pocket brand was first popular during the 1990s and has seen a revival following the success of the TV series since it was first broadcast on Turner Broadcasting System’s (TBS) preschool net Boomerang in Italy in January 2010.

Turner has since picked it up for its channels across EMEA, and Puppy’s first season (52×13′) currently airs on Boomerang in the US.

Previews of the 52×13′ new episodes will be available at MipTV next month.

TBS Europe has appointed Mondo TV to represent toons such as Ben 10 and Generator Rex in the Middle East and North Africa. The deal gives the Italian entertainment group 581 hours of content.
