LoveFilm, CBS extend ties

Amazon VoD service LoveFilm has renewed a multi-year content deal with CBS Studios International (CBSSI) to bring a range of shows to its streaming service.

UK and German members of the European VoD service will be able to stream TV series from CBSSI and its cable sibling Showtime from today, following the extension of a previous deal.

Titles available include The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Nurse Jackie, Californication and Dexter. The original 1960s version of Star Trek and Star Trek Voyager are also available to stream on-demand.

The agreement comes after LoveFilm recently signed a deal with Fox International Channels for zombie drama The Walking Dead. The service also acquired first-run UK and German rights to Michael Hirst drama Vikings.
