America Divided, created by Solly Granatstein, Lucian Read, and Richard Rowley, will follow celebrities as they explore inequality in their own lives.

Lear, recipient of a Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award at Natpe this week, will headline a segment where he looks at New York’s housing crisis. Also presenting a piece is Rapper Common, who also exec produces.

The show debuts on Epix this fall.

Earlier this month, Netflix announced it was launching a Latino remake of Lear’s iconic comedy series One Day at a Time.

At Natpe last year, Lear said the industry’s obsession with the 18-39 demo had bred a culture of ageism, adding that he was finding it difficult to get comedies about the elderly on air.
