Kanal D strikes Chilean deal

Chilean network Mega has acquired three drama series from Turkish broadcaster Kanal D, amounting to 1,200 hours of content.

Wounded Love, Time Goes By and the re-run of Fatmagul will all head to Mega under the deal.

Meanwhile, TV Azteca in Mexico has acquired Kanal D’s Kuzey Guney, which tells the story of two brothers’ struggle to survive in their own worlds. Kuzey Guney also aired on Chile’s Canal 13, which also picked up dramas Forbidden Love and Waiting for the Sun, Leaf Cast and Bidding Farewell.

Family war drama Wounded Love has previously sold to Telefe in Argentina, America TV in Peru and Monte Carlo in Uruguay. The show has been sold across Europe.
