Hungary takes Leonardo, Pet Pals

A Hungarian public broadcaster has picked up 156 episodes of two animated series from Italy’s Gruppo Alcuni.

MTVA will air Pet Pals (52×13’) and Leonardo (26×13’) on its children’s channel M2 as well feature film Pet Pals – Marco Polo’s Code.

This is the latest distribution agreement for Pet Pals in 3D, which has already been acquired in territories including the Baltic States, Indonesia, Spain and Russia.

Leonardo, about a young adventurer and inventor, has also been picked up by broadcasters in Europe. Season two of the toon is currently in production and will be broadcast in spring 2014.
