The Ottawa-based channel, founded by established TV producer Chris Knight in December 2013, has committed to producing more than 100 hours of original 4K culinary content yearly.

The first series to be distributed at MipTV next month are One World Kitchen (30×30’ and 120 webisodes) and A Is For Apple (30×30’ and 100 webisodes). Both series are available in HD, 4K and as formats, while the original webisodes are designed for second-screen consumption, in addition to kitchen-tested recipes with artwork.

“As a broadcaster, we understand the multiplatform universe, which is why our series are available in both 4K and HD, with original webisodes. Our trendy, edgy series are made for people who love food, by people who love food, and we’re excited to be launching them at MipTV,” said Knight, CEO and founder of Gusto TV.

Gusto TV’s programming includes Cook Like a Chef, License to Grill, Edible Roadshow and This Food That Wine. Knight is known for his culinary and lifestyle programming, publishing and merchandising as founder of Knight Enterprises.
