Gulli saddles up Adventures of Nasredine

Lagardère-owned French kids’ network Gulli has commissioned an animated series about on a donkey-riding explorer.

The Adventures of Nasredine is produced by Millimages

The Adventures of Nasredine is being produced by Millimages and Régis Saillard will direct.

The series tells the story of Nasredine, a mythical character of oriental descent as he trots through different ages of history.

Last year, Millimages partnered with a digital distribution outfit to set up a VoD service on Samsung smart TVs in France.

Okidoki launched in August with 500 hours of children’s programming spanning animated and live-action series as well as documentaries and movies.
