Fox axes Son of Zorn, Making History, APB

Fox in the US has cancelled three of its shows after just one season, including live-action/animation hybrid Son of Zorn.

Animated hybrid Son of Zorn failed to get a second season

The show, which follows a warrior who moves to California to reconnect with his son, was produced by 20th Century Fox Television, with Phil Lord and Chris Miller exec producing.

The duo and 20th Century Fox TV were also behind time travel comedy Making History, which has also failed to make it to a second run after poor ratings.

Lord and Miller’s third show on Fox, The Last Man On Earth, has been renewed while the network has already dropped Sleepy Hollow and Rosewood, after four and two seasons respectively.

APB has also failed to make the grade. Billed as a “police drama with a high-tech twist,” the Chicago-set show hails from exec producer and director Len Wiseman (Underworld) and exec producer and writer Matt Nix (Burn Notice). 20th Century Fox Television produced and distributed.
