Finland’s Nelonen Cracks Them Up

Finnish broadcaster Nelonen will air a local version of Ukrainian comedy format Crack Them Up this March.

Producer Yellow Film & TV has licensed the format from Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights, producing a run of 10 episodes for Nelonen.

The format, from Studio Kvartal 95, has run for 12 seasons on 1+1 in Ukraine. It features regular members of the public trying to make professional comedians laugh to win a cash prize.

Local versions of the show have previously aired in Russia, China, Vietnam and Lithuania.
