FIC cooks up with Eastwood

Fox International Channels (FIC) has ordered an English-language cookery show starring nutrition expert Harry Eastwood that explores both healthy and unhealthy foods available in Paris.

Baking Good Baking Bad (13×30′) will be produced by French prodco Pernel Media and is set to air on FIC’s network 24Kitchen globally, as well as FIC channels including Nat Geo People and Fox Life.

UK native Eastwood, who previously featured in Cook Yourself Thin on Channel 4 in the UK, will explore a range of dishes available in the French capital, which has become her home. FIC’s Mark Leslie and Pernel Media’s Samuel Kissous are the executive producers.

The commission is Pernel’s latest international English-language series following its recent coproduction of 4 Babies a Second with FIC France’s travel channel Voyage, which was recently acquired for Nat Geo People.

The company is also adapting a number of British formats including Cash Cab from All3Media-owned Lion, Hat Trick’s Dinner Date and Optomen’s Great British Menu for French broadcasters.
