Channel 4 hires Naked exec

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has bolstered its features and daytime commissioning team by hiring an exec from FremantleMedia-backed Naked Entertainment.

Tim Hancock was head of development at Simon Andreae’s indie for five months and previously held development roles at the BBC, Twenty Twenty, World of Wonder and Blast! Films.

He will join C4 as commissioning editor for features and daytime next month, reporting to head of features Gill Wilson.

In his new role, he will be charged with commissioning primetime features for C4, More 4 and All4.

FremantleMedia took a 25% stake in London-based Naked Entertainment last September.
