CBS prescribes more Code Black

Code Black is one of three CBS shows to gain episodes

US broadcast network CBS has ordered five more episodes of medical drama Code Black, bringing its total order to 18.

The show, about the daily lives of staff at Los Angeles’ busiest hospital, joins other CBS freshman series Life in Pieces and Limitless in gaining additional episode orders.

Michael Seitzman created the show and exec produces alongside Marti Noxon, Linda Goldstein-Knowlton, Ryan McGarry and David Semel for ABC Studios, in association with CBS Television Studios.
