Canal+ finds Glue

French broadcaster Canal+ has picked up UK drama series Glue to air this spring.

The eight-part series, which originally broadcast on Channel 4’s digital sister channel E4 in the UK last September, was acquired from distributor Entertainment One Television International.

Glue hails from Jack Thorne, writer on Channel 4’s This Is England, and was produced by Eleven Film.

The series centres on the friends of a 14-year-old boy who is found dead in the opening episode and depicts rural England as a hotbed of murder and teenage drug abuse.
