C4 looks at health with Wonder

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a health format from the London-based Australian joint venture 7 Wonder.

Over My Dead Body (working title) is a 4×60’ series fronted by Davina McCall as she looks at some of the most extreme health issues affecting people in the UK.

The programme marks 7 Wonder’s first commission for C4 and was ordered by the channel’s deputy head of features, Alex Menzies.

Former Maverick Television producer Sarah Trigg will exec produce the series for 7 Wonder.

7 Wonder was set up last year by Australia’s Seven Network and former Maverick Television execs Alexandra Fraser, Liza Abbott and Simon Ellse.

Its launch followed the formation of the 7Beyond joint venture, between Seven Network and Beyond International, which focuses on the creation and development of new programmes and formats for the US television market.
