BBCWW take online stars to MipJunior

BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) is taking two longform linear projects from YouTube and Music.ly stars to MipJunior in Cannes next month.

DanTDM: On Tour (1×30’) stars YouTube gaming star DanTDM, one of the top 20 creators on the social video platform.

In the show, DanTDM takes viewers on an adventure with his pugs Ellie and Darcie, and characters Dr Trayaurus and Craig the Mailman as they attempt to defeat arch-enemy Evil Dan.

Max and Harvey (In a Show), meanwhile, features the 14-year-old duo who have one of the biggest accounts on music app Music.ly with more than four million subscribers.

The 2×30’ episodes are produced by Sassy Films with CBBC and BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) and chart a year of their music career.

An extended 75-minute of the programme, which will be available on DVD in the UK from October 30, will be available to buyers at MipJunior. It will also air on CBBC’s My Life strand this fall.

BBCWW will also bring CBBC series The Next Step (season five), The Bagel & Becky Show, Jamie Johnson and Horrible Histories (S7 and specials) to the market, as well as Go Jetters (S2), which launched on last week, Hey Duggee (S2) and Sarah & Duck (S3).
