Siobhan Herriott joins the distributor on June 1 and will report to general manager Steven Allcock.

In the newly created London- and Brussels-based role, Herriott will sell formats including The Mole, Eternal Glory and recent launches The House and Like an Animal.

She will focus on growth in the Eastern European markets and will be with The New Flemish Primitives at next month’s Natpe Europe market.

The exec joins from Banijay International where she worked for four years as sales manager, placing formats into the Eastern European, Turkish and Benelux markets.

The move follows the merger of Banijay Group and Zodiak Media earlier this year, which saw Banijay International rebranded as Zodiak Rights. Banijay International MD Emmanuelle Namiech was among the staff to leave the firm.

The New Flemish Primitives’ founder and MD Sue Green announced she was leaving the firm earlier this month, with Allcock now leading the operation. The company was launched in 2011 by Flemish indies De Filistijnen, deMensen and Woestijnvis.
