Armoza Still Standing in Hungary

Israel-based Armoza Formats has secured a third international deal for its gameshow Still Standing.

The format, where contestants have to out-guess 100 opponents in a fast-paced trivia battle, was created by July-August Productions and has been sold by Armoza to MTV’s M1 in Hungary.

Show and Game, the production company behind Hungarian versions of Deal or No Deal and The Weakest Link, is producing 80 episodes for M1.

The programme will premiere on October 3 and air daily with Hungarian TV personality Fundel Takacs hosting.

The format has just completed a second season in Israel on Channel 10 and Armoza has already done deals in the US, with NBC, and in Spain, where a local version began airing on Antena3 earlier this year.

Antena3 initially commissioned six episodes titled Ahora Caigo from Spanish prodco Gestmusic but extended that to 15 and then a daily version after it rated well at 22.00 on Tuesdays.

Armoza says it expects NBC to announce a mid-season premiere date for the US version, hosted by Ben Bailey, shortly.
