All4 invites viewers into Community

Community was created by Dan Harmon

All 4, the on-demand service from UK pubcaster Channel 4, has acquired all six seasons of US comedy Community from Sony Pictures Television (SPT).

The first few seasons will be made available exclusively to All4 viewers from July 23, with all 100 episodes set to be accessible by August.

Produced by Universal Television and SPT, Community was written and created by Dan Harmon (Rick & Morty) and tells the story of a dysfunctional study group at a community college.

It aired on NBC and online portal Yahoo! between 2009 and 2015, and has been previously picked up by Hulu in the US, Aussie streamer Stan and Netflix in Latin America.

Community joins other exclusive US comedy box sets available on All4 including Let’s Get Physical, Mr Student Body President and both seasons of Search Party.

Earlier this week, C4 head of drama Beth Willis revealed she would be leaving to join The Forge, the UK indie behind the network’s shows Ackley Bridge and National Treasure.
