All3Media reveals Hidden sales

Hidden was produced by Severn Screen

DR in Denmark, KRO in the Netherlands and VRT in Belgium are among the international broadcasters to have acquired crime drama Hidden from UK-based distributor All3Media International.

The show was originally produced by Severn Screen for Welsh Pubcaster S4C and BBC Wales. It follows a police detective who returns to her hometown to look after her ageing father as the body of a local woman is found in a mountain river.

It hails from Severn Screen’s Mark Andrew and Ed Talfan, who previously created dual-language hit drama Hinterland.

All3Media has also shopped Hidden to NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland and Sky New Zealand’s Rialto Channel.

In the US and Canada, RLJ Entertainment’s SVoD service Acorn TV has acquired exclusive VoD, DVD and download rights. Hidden has previously been acquired by BBC4 in the UK.
