Zone develops new vision of itself

Thematic channel operator Zone Vision Networks has rebranded both its corporate and channel identities to better represent its core business and potential new media opportunities.

Zone Vision itself will be known as Zonemedia, while Reality TV becomes Zone Reality, The Horror Channel becomes Zone Horror and so on. The new moniker is also a better fit alongside Chellomedia, the Liberty Global content division of which it is a part.

Zonemedia chairman Chris Wronski said: “Our new look reflects the developments that have taken place in the business in recent years, which encompass the launch of new satellite channels, as well as web and WAP sites.”

The Zonemedia rebrand will be rolled out at the end of June with new on- and off-air global branding developed to support the new corporate and channel idents. The channel’s programming strategy, schedule and targets demos will remain the same.
