ViacomCBS promotes Pluto’s Jollet

ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) has promoted the European MD of its Pluto TV AVoD service to lead its emerging businesses in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia (EMEAA).

Olivier Jollet has been appointed senior VP of emerging business for the regions and will drive streaming and mobile strategy.

Jollet will head up a new business unit which includes the digital portfolio – AVoD, SVoD, mobile services and products – as well as advanced advertising.

He will report to Raffaele Annecchino, president of ViacomCBS Networks in EMEAA and be responsible for developing and expanding the digital business across those markets.

Jollet has been MD for Europe for Pluto TV since 2016, where he has led strategy and business development for Europe.

Prior to that, Jollet worked at Watchever and Universal Music. He co-founded Quazer, a unique digital TV-like service, and was MD until Quazer’s acquisition by Pluto TV in October 2016.

Jollet will continue in his position as MD Europe at Pluto TV whilst expanding his remit to include all digital properties within the EMEAA portfolio.
