NEWS BRIEF: NBCUniversal-owned pay TV network Universal TV in Latin America has picked up the second season of Argentinean crime drama El Marginal from Israeli distributor Dori Media.

The second season, greenlit by Argentinean channel TV Publica and made by local firm Underground Producciones, is a prequel to the first run. It focuses on an ex-police officer who enters a prison disguised as a convict to infiltrate the gang behind a high-profile kidnapping.
