TVNZ cooks up My Kitchen Rules

Television New Zealand (TVNZ) has renewed culinary reality series My Kitchen Rules Australia in a deal with distributor Endemol Shine International (ESI).

The broadcaster will bring the series back for its tenth run in 2019, airing on TVNZ 2. The format, created and produced by Seven Studios for Seven Network, travels around Australia aiming to find the best home-cooking team. Teams of two battle from their own kitchens trying to impress judges with their culinary skills and use of local ingredients.

TVNZ’s deal was negotiated by Lyle Bettson-Barker, ESI’s sales director for Australia and New Zealand.

Sold around the world, the series has been adapted locally in New Zealand by TVNZ along with the UK, USA, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, South Africa, Georgia, Lithuania, Serbia and Israel.
