TV Corp appoints chief executive

In the UK, TV production group The Television Corporation, owner of Robot Wars producer and format owner Mentorn, has appointed Jeff Foulser as chief executive.

Foulser, who has been acting chief executive of TV Corp since Chris Rowland's resignation in September, will continue to run the company and expand its content creation and acquisitions.

Formerly md of the TV Corp subsidiary Sunset+Vine, the production company behind Channel 4's Test cricket coverage, Foulser began his career at LWT where he was senior producer for London Weekend Television's live sports coverage.

TV Corp – which has production, post-production and OB under its umbrella – has also made a number of other board changes, with Channel 4's former deputy director of programmes, Karen Brown recruited as a non-executive director.

Mentorn's chairman Tom Gutteridge has been appointed to the post of executive director with responsibilities for group content and marketing, while director of programmes George Carey has joined the board as an executive director.
