Turkey’s Exxen takes K-dramas

CJ ENM romantic drama It’s Okay That’s Love

Fledgling Turkish SVoD platform Exxen has acquired more than 150 hours of South Korean drama series from Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights to fill its K-drama strand.

The deal consists of three shows from Eccho’s parent company, CJ ENM, and four from South Korean broadcaster SBS, as well as the streaming rights to SBS’s 2020 K Pop Festival.

From CJ ENM, Exxen has licensed romantic dramas Cheese in the Trap and It’s Okay That’s Love, and crime thriller Tunnel.

The SBS series are period drama Giant, dramas Brilliant Legacy and The Inheritors, and romantic comedy Pretty Ugly.
