Topic stocks up at Fremantle

Topic, the soon-to-launch streaming service from US-based First Look Media, has bought 10 titles from producer and distributor Fremantle.

Dramas The Miracle, from Fremantle’s Italian prodco Wildside, and Sunshine Kings, from its Australian scripted outfit Easy Tiger, will premiere on Topic at launch in the US and Canada on November 21.

The remaining eight titles will launch on Topic throughout 2020. They include Fremantle Spain’s documentary Lane 0, Wild Pictures doc Miriam’s Big American Adventure, Label’s Monkman & Seagull’s Genius Guide to Britain and BBC Studios drama Against the Law.

Also launching in 2020 are drama series Capital, from Endemol Shine UK’s Kudos, Thames Television film The Naked Civil Servant, psychological thriller series Exile from AbbottVision and Red Productions, and Original Productions’ true-crime docuseries Badlands, Texas.
