The service, which premiered on Beijing-based pay TV operator Star Times last October, has signed an agreement with Canal Digital Kabel, owned by Norway’s leading telecoms company Telenor.

The 24/7 channel, which outlined its vision to C21 last month, is available to pay TV operators globally as part of linear, video-on-demand and/or TV Everywhere offerings.

“The QYou represents a form of content that fills a gap in our current offering,” said Haakon Li Dragland, director of content and strategy at Canal Digital Kabel. “Web content is continually growing in popularity, and we find the position The QYou is taking to curate the content exciting.”

Last month, The QYou launched its mobile app, allowing subscription service providers to deliver its linear and VoD content through a multiscreen experience.
