Super RTL adds 9 Story shows

German kids and family channel Super RTL has picked up more than 70 hours of programming from Canadian producer-distributor 9 Story Entertainment.

The broadcaster, which faces fresh competition following shareholder Disney’s launch of a free-to-air kids’ channel in the territory last month, has acquired four shows from 9 Story.

Animated comedy Numb Chucks (52×11’), preschool series Peg + Cat (40×12’), season two of Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood (50×11’) and season three of Wild Kratts (26×22’) are included in the deal.

Super RTL already airs all three seasons of 9 Story’s animated series Almost Naked Animals (52×22’), the first seasons of Camp Lakebottom (26×22’) and Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood (80×11’), and the first two seasons of Wild Kratts (66×22’).
