Stotsky named Esquire Network chief

NBCUniversal has named Adam Stotsky as president of its new Esquire Network (EN), which launched yesterday.

Stotsky was most recently general manager at EN and had previously worked as general manager at G4, which has been replaced by the new network.

The new US cable channel is a joint venture between Hearst Magazines and NBCUniversal. It has so far picked up rights to several existing series including comedy Parks and Recreation, talkshow Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and action thriller Burn Notice, and has ordered a host of original programming.
