Spike draws up Ink Master spin-off

US network Spike has ordered another spin-off from its tattoo-competition franchise Ink Master.

The 10th season of Ink Master is set to air in 2018

Ink Master: Angels (10×60′) features four of the characters from Ink Master’s eighth season as they travel the US and go head-to-head with some of America’s most talented tattoo artists.

Competitors will face a variety of tattoo-based challenges to see who has what it takes to beat the Angels and earn a spot on the 10th season of Ink Master, due in 2018.

Ink Master: Angels is set to air in the fall after the ninth season of the original show. Both series are produced by US-based Endemol Shine Group prodco Truly Original.

Other spin-offs from the Ink Master brand include Ink Master: Redemption, which also airs on Spike. The channel is being rebranded as The Paramount Network in early 2018 as part of new president and CEO Bob Bakish’s plans to revitalise the media giant.
