Sony shops Cyber kids duo

Cyber Group Studios’ Gigantosaurus will make its UK debut

Sony Pictures Television has picked up animated series Sadie Sparks and preschool series Gigantosaurus for its UK kids’ channels Pop and Tiny Pop, respectively.

This will be the first time both series, which come from Paris- and LA-based prodco and distributor Cyber Group Studios, will be broadcast in the UK.

Sadie Sparks (52×11′) is a 2D, HD and CGI animated comedy series aimed at children aged six to 10. It follows the daily life of a teenage girl who discovers she has extraordinary powers. It will make its UK debut on Pop in the second quarter of 2020.

Gigantosaurus (52×11′) is a CGI comedy action series based on the book of the same name by Jonny Duddle. It follows four dinosaur friends as they go on comedy-filled adventures and explore the world beyond their nests.

It will premiere on Tiny Pop in the second quarter of 2020 and is also confirmed to air on France TV, Germany’s Super RTL, Italy’s Rai Yoyo and on Netflix almost worldwide.
