SIC puts Heart & Soul into int’l market

Multiple award nominee Heart & Soul

CJ ENM-owned distributor Eccho Rights has picked up international rights to two serial dramas from Portuguese broadcaster SIC.

Heart & Soul (Alma e Coração) and Water Mirror (Espelho d’Água) are produced by SP Televisão and will be launched for international sales at Mipcom next month.

Heart & Soul (300×45′) was nominated in three categories at last month’s Seoul International Drama Awards, picked up an award at the 20th World Media Festival in Hamburg earlier this year and was nominated for the Rockie Awards at the 40th Banff World Media Festival.

Portuguese broadcaster SIC’s Water Mirror

Water Mirror (327×45′) has been nominated for various international drama awards including the Seoul International Drama Awards, Banff and the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.

South Korean media group CJ ENM acquired Eccho Rights in December last year.
