TotalPlay will launch The QYou’s linear channel on its IPTV service, marking The QYou’s entry into the Latin American market.

Last week, The QYou inked a deal with Multi Channels Asia to deliver its TV formats across Asia Pacific.

Scott Ehrlich, co-founder and CEO of The QYou, said: “It’s evident there is strong appetite for internet content in Mexico, so it makes a lot of sense for an innovative operator like TotalPlay to integrate The QYou as part of its IPTV offering.”

Dublin-based The QYou, which debuted on Beijing-based pay TV operator Star Times in October 2014, provides a curated line-up of made-for-web video from around the world.

The 24/7 channel is available to pay TV operators globally as part of linear, video-on-demand and/or TV Everywhere offerings.

The ad-free service is the brainchild of industry veterans Ehrlich (Fox News, NBC Cable, Real, Divx), Curt Marvis (MTV, CinemaNow, Lionsgate), Les Garland (MTV, VH-1, The Box) and G Scott Patterson (Lionsgate Entertainment, NeuLion, Engagement Labs).
