Ovation gets more from All3Media

Eddie Izzard and Richard Ayoade in Travel Man

US arts-focused network Ovation has acquired further seasons of comedy travel series Travel Man and detective drama Midsomer Murders from All3Media International.

Under the deal, Ovation has secured the non-exclusive US broadcast rights to seasons seven and eight (8×30′) plus a 1×60′ Christmas special of Travel Man – fronted by British comedian Richard Ayoade – and seasons seven to 11 (38×120′) of UK detective drama Midsomer Murders.

In addition, Ovation has picked up both seasons of cooking series Gordon’s Great Escape (7×60′), which follow British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay as he explores culinary traditions in India and South-East Asia.

Midsomer Murders will air on Ovation on Thursday, with Travel Man and Gordon’s Great Escape earmarked for 2020.
