ZDF picks up Red Arrow drama, factual

VTM’s The Bank Hacker centres on a daring bank heist

German public broadcaster ZDF has picked up crime thriller The Bank Hacker and the first season of factual series The Weekly from Red Arrow Studios International.

Produced by De Mensen for VTM in Belgium, The Bank Hacker (8×50’) follows a teenager who joins a team of expert con men and commits a daring bank heist.

The Weekly, meanwhile, is a news-based series from The New York Times and Red Arrow’s Left/Right for FX and Hulu in the US. The first season consists of 30×27’ episodes and a second season is currently in production.
