Hydro & Fluid’s second season will premiere next month

DHX Media-owned digital kids’ network and studio WildBrain has boarded the second season of a Brazilian YouTube animation property as a coproducer.

WildBrain is teaming with Brazilian animation studio Alopra to coproduce the second season of Hydro & Fluid.

The London-based firm will take 50% ownership in the slapstick comedy series, having managed the first season’s roll-out onto YouTube in January this year.

The 26×1′ second season of the show, which WildBrain says has amassed 50 million views through its branded hub channels, will launch next month.

The show’s titular characters are water capsules who ran away from a laboratory after being brought to life in an experiment that went wrong.
