WE tv reality series Love After Lockup

AMC Networks-owned cablenet WE tv has renewed its Love After Lockup and Life After Lockup series for respective third and second seasons.

According to WE tv, Love After Lockup was the fastest-growing reality series on the network in 2018, while spin-off Life After Lockup delivered record ratings for its debut earlier this year.

The original series, Love After Lockup, is about couples attempting relationships after one partner’s release from prison. Life After Lockup, meanwhile, follows five couples from the original series as they build their post-incarceration relationships and lives.

Both series are produced by Sharp Entertainment, with exec producers Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Alan Madison and Sophie Mallam. Lauren Gellert and Kate Farrell exec produce for WE tv.

European distributor Off The Fence sells the shows internationally as part of its ongoing deal with WE tv.
