WarnerMedia, Canal+ take Total Dramarama

Total Dramarama features the characters from Total Drama

WarnerMedia, Canal+ in France and ABC in Australia are among several channels to pick up kids’ animated series Total Dramarama from UK distributor Cake.

Aimed at six- to 11-year-olds, Total Dramarama is a prequel to animated comedy  Total Drama and ages down the original teen characters into troublesome toddlers.

Produced by Fresh TV, Total Dramarama’s third season is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in the US and Teletoon in Canada in mid-year.

Cartoon Network parent company WarnerMedia has picked up seasons two and three of the series for German-speaking territories, Benelux, Eastern Europe, APAC and Latin America, while Canal+ and ABC have signed up for season two.

Elsewhere, S2-3 have also been acquired by PopTV in the UK, K2 and DeAkids in Italy and Super 3 in Spain.
