TVF rejigs sales team, closes Euro sales

Mediacorp’s Asia’s Ancient Civilisations has been sold into Ukraine and Russia

London-based factual distributor TVF International has reorganised its European sales executives and secured a number of programme sales in the region and Russia.

Frank Mably is moving to TVF’s Europe team while Katie Bench will take on Benelux in addition to Latin American and Iberian sales. Poppy McAlister will now oversee France in addition to Africa and the Nordics.

UA:PBC in Ukraine, Russia-K and Digital TV Russia are among the broadcasters to have picked up space and history titles from TVF, including Searching for Light: An Astronomer’s Journey (1×60’) from In-House Films and Asia’s Ancient Civilisations (4×48’) from Mediacorp.

Russian Extreme TV has taken a 4K package that includes the TVF and Tokyovision coproduced series Ocean Wild (4×50’) and Ocean Predators (4×44’), produced for Prime TV.

In Central Europe, Ceskaslovenska Filmova bought a package including Wingspan Productions’ one-off Fake News: A True History (1×60’) and true crime series The Big Boss: A 21st Century Criminal (2×48’) from Mediacorp.
