The two companies are already developing a horror series based on a graphic novel about the African American struggle in the US.

Programming produced by Quality Films includes YouTube music series City Girls – The Series and Instagram Live series Mastery, which sees leading musicians such as Keri Hilson discuss the music industry.

Meanwhile, Trioscope Studio is behind Netflix series The Liberator.

LC Crowley, Trioscope Studio’s co-founder and CEO, said: “Quality Control has revolutionised the music industry and influenced American pop culture monumentally. Through our partnership, we’ll create a unique fusion of culture and animation to take television to the next level.”
