The Chi gets fourth season on Showtime

The Chi debuted on Showtime in 2018

US cablenet Showtime has renewed drama series The Chi for a fourth season.

Created by Lena Waithe, The Chi is a coming-of-age story about a group of residents on the south side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.

Produced by Touchstone Television, the series premiered on Showtime in 2018 and recently finished airing its third season.

Justin Hillian will return as showrunner for season four and will also exec produce with Waithe.
