Sky Deutschland, RTL, ZDF, Seven.One, Discovery Germany shop for factual at Beyond Rights

Elizabeth is included in Sky Deutschland’s package

German broadcasters Sky Deutschland, RTL, ZDF Studios, Discovery Germany and Seven.One Entertainment Group have each acquired factual content from Beyond Rights.

Sky Deutschland has picked up a package of close to 100 hours, led by Elizabeth (8×60’), a royal biography series that spans the 70-year reign of the British Queen, and The Prince & the Paedophile (1×60’), about the Queen’s son Prince Andrew.

Continuing with the British theme, Sky Deutschland has also picked up two seasons of Inside British Airways (6×60’).

Rounding out the package are World’s Greatest Palaces (10×60’), Inside Secret Societies (6×60’), Nazi Murder Mysteries (6×60’), WW2: Witness to War (12×60’), four seasons of nature series Monkey Life (80×30’) and competitive dog grooming show Pooch Perfect USA (8×60’).

RTL, meanwhile, has acquired automotive, science and popular culture series Motor MythBusters (8×60’), which premieres on Nitro next week, while Discovery Germany has picked up all six seasons of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords (71×60’).

ZDF Studios has taken MH370: The Cover Up (2×60’), as well as the second season of Underground Worlds (10×60’), which explores some of the planets’ most extraordinary subterranean structures – both natural and man-made.

Finally, Seven.One Entertainment has acquired the first three seasons of Undercut: Wooden Treasure (14×60’), which follows the dangerous and stressful work of lumberjacks in northern Italy, and the fourth season of Massive Engineering Mistakes (10×60’).
