Sky and Globosat among Lat Am buyers shopping at Blue Ant International

The Royal Documentaries package includes Harry & Meghan: Two Troubled Years

Latin American broadcasters and streamers including Sky and Globosat in Brazil have acquired a raft of factual programmes from Blue Ant International.

Sky in Brazil has picked up The Royal Documentaries, a package of 20 one-off docs from ITN Productions about the British royal family.

Pay TV service DirecTV and streaming platform DirecTV Go have also acquired The Royal Documentaries, for their services in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Mexico.

Additionally, DirecTV and DirecTV Go have licensed Into the Blue, an 8×60’ docuseries from Zona Mixta exploring the various marine ecosystems and underwater creatures that live in the Coral Triangle in the western Pacific Ocean.

Finally, AMC Networks International in Latin America has picked up a programming package from Love Nature’s 4K originals library in Mexico, South America and Central America.

Series in the package include Baby Animals (13×30’), which follows infant animals as they eat, sleep and play their way to adulthood, and Strange Creatures (13×30’), which takes a look at the weirdest wild animals. Both series are produced by Blue Ant Studios.
