Schitt’s Creek flows into Italy

Schitt’s Creek concluded with its sixth season

Italian broadcaster Mediaset’s digital platform, Mediaset Infinity, has acquired exclusive local rights to Canadian sitcom Schitt’s Creek.

The whole series is now available on the platform’s Infinity+ channel following a deal with distributor ITV Studios.

Originally made for Canadian pubcaster the CBC, the show ended last year after six seasons. It gained renewed popularity during Covid-19 lockdowns, thanks in part to being featured on global streamer Netflix.

Infinity was launched at the end of May as an update to Mediaset’s OTT offering. Users have access to various channels showing scripted, unscripted and kids’ content, as well as Champions League football matches.
