Rocket Rights prepares for Doomsday

Doomsday: Caught on Camera debuted at the end of last year

Rocket Rights, the new UK distributor from David and Matthew Frank, has added a Travel Channel series featuring stories of surviving natural disasters to its sales slate.

Doomsday: Caught on Camera is produced by New York-based Meetinghouse Productions for Discovery-owned US cablenet Travel Channel.

The series offers close-up footage and testimony of escapes from volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and other natural disasters.

It follows the same format as Meetinghouse’s previous Travel Channel series Paranormal Caught on Camera, now commissioned to a third season and airing on Discovery+.

Travel aired Doomsday: Caught on Camera at the end of 2020 and is in discussions over a second season. Rocket Rights, unveiled by the Franks in January, will now shop the show globally.
