Reshet 13 sets up international arm

Israeli broadcaster Reshet 13 is launching a division called 13Global to strengthen its international presence by creating and developing content for foreign markets.

The new studio will develop relationships with international entities, distributors and channels and create content that appeals to Reshet 13’s audience as well as viewers abroad.

Ami Glam, Reshet 13’s VP of content, will lead the venture.

Reshet 13 has recently launched three projects internationally: dating format Find Me Somebody To Love, drama Blackspace and factual entertainment show Kings of the Kitchen.

Glam said: “Reshet 13 launches 13Global at a time when the international television content distribution market is blooming and has great potential for worldwide success. We tend to use the Reshet platform as a testing ground for new and compelling content that can be adapted worldwide.”

Reshet’s catalogue includes formats and programmes in all genres, such as award-winning drama Hostages and format Game of Chefs.
