Red Bull visits Amazon with Pioneer

Red Bull Media House (RBMH) has commissioned factual specialist Pioneer Productions to make a show that sees an adventurer paddle his way up the Amazon River.

PaddleSUP: Mission Amazon will see Charlie Head attempt the first ever stand up paddle board of the main water source of the Amazon – the Rio Marañón in Peru – in an attempt to highlight one of the planet’s most endangered environments.

The show will follow Head on a grueling two month journey from the Peruvian Andes down to the stifling heat of the Amazon Rain Forest. Stephen Marsh is executive producer for Tinopolis-owned Pioneer Productions.
