Police Interceptors distributor Raw Cut elevates Alex Colebeck to head sales

London-based Raw Cut Distribution has promoted senior sales manager Alex Colebeck to head of distribution.

Colebeck joined the indie, which represents Channel 5’s documentary series Police Interceptors, as a sales manager in 2018 before his most recent role.

Prior to Raw Cut, Colebeck served as affiliate sales manager at Scripps Network and continued the role at Discovery after the factual giant acquired Scripps in 2018.

Colebeck previously worked as a sales executive at the production and distribution arm of UK pubcaster the BBC and BBC Studios and as a sales and sports distribution executive at Boulder Creek International.

Raw Cut CEO Steve Warr said: “With pressure on domestic production budgets it makes sense to broaden the scope of funding. We have a number of new commissions already this year and a set of productions that will benefit from teaming up with other producers. Alex will make a real difference.”
