NBCU’s US streamer Peacock unveils slate of Olympic Winter Games documentaries

NBCUniversal-owned US streaming service Peacock has commissioned three documentaries about athletes who have competed in the Olympic Winter Games.

Executive produced by Tara Lipinski and Todd Kapostasy, Meddling is a four-part docuseries detailing the 2002 Olympic figure skating scandal which saw Russia and Canada sharing the gold medal after one of the judges said she had been pressured to put Russia in first place.

Picabo, which chronicles the life of Picabo Street, the alpine skiing icon of the 1990s, is from co-directors and executive producers Frank Marshall and Lindsey Vonn.

Finally, Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman narrates American Rock Stars, which follows curler John Shuster and his team as they prepare to defend their gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Scott Boggins serves as director.

All three documentaries are produced by NBCUniversal.
