NBCU rolls Hayu into Benelux

Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be available on Hayu in Benelux

NBCUniversal International (NBCUI) is rolling out its reality-focused SVoD service Hayu into three new territories in Europe.

The streamer will become available in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, offering more than 6,000 episodes of reality content from more than 200 shows, most of which debut on the service the same day as they premiere in the US.

Box-set content is also available, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Real Housewives and Million Dollar Listing franchises.

The roll-out in Benelux will make Hayu available in 11 countries by the end of 2018, with the service costing €5.99 in the three new territories.

Hendrik McDermott, senior VP of branded on-demand at NBCUI, said: “Hayu’s popularity as a must-have service delivering the best in reality – built on the foundation of NBCU’s formidable expertise as a producer of reality programming – is fuelling our momentum and we look forward to introducing the service to a new community of reality fans across the Benelux countries.”

Hayu launched in the UK, Ireland and Australia in March 2016, and then in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark in November 2017. The service’s most recent launch was in Canada in late September 2018.
